The client wanted to create artwork that reflected the otherworldly and mythical qualities on her new recording.
Photography (front and back) was provided by client which I re-colored and painted, I worked with collected antique type and paper samples, and the braid ring was made digitally from a photograph of a horsehair braid I made in the studio.

Artist Bio
After moving to Joshua Tree from Los Angeles. Violinist/composer Julie Carpenter fell in love with the extremes of the high desert. She weaves orchestral and electronic textures to inhabit that boundary between storm and sun. Less Bells also draws on the talents of Dain Luscombe, Leah Harmon, Rachel Smith, and Kenneth James Gibson.
